ecosur® was founded in 2006 in Paris as a carbon credits trading and advisory firm. It soon became one of the leading CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) consulting groups with operations worldwide.

ecosur SARL (France), as our trading arm, operated on the spot market (2006-2011), as a Trading Member of the leading CO2 spot exchange in Europe: PowerNext Carbon, and later "BlueNext" (a Joint Venture between NYSE-EuroNext and France's Caisse des Dépôts); as well as the GME (the Italian Power Exchange) and Climex, an independent CO2 spot exchange based in the Netherlands.

ecosur america was registered in 2011 as our project development and brokerage Holding, responsible for our operations in Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East; as well as our growing OTC trading activities.

ecosur FMCG is our distribution branch, specialized in the procurement, trading and distribution of premium quality foods, Fast Moving Consumer Goods and commodities.

During its 10 years of consulting, trading and brokerage in the energy, agriculture, environment and industry fields, ecosur has developed very strong ties with a number of key industrial groups, utilities, institutions and agro-industries worldwide.
